Free Lunch

So I got my cable modem hooked up last night and low and behold when you get a Time Warner cable modem you also get the top five or so channels bundled with it. The two that concern me are Food Network and Cartoon Network. Considering these two take up approx. 90% of my T.V. viewing time I’d say I’ll save my $40/month on the other channels. I’m really curious about why that is, I’m guessing it has something to do with the cable modem being essentially a “channel” (I assume that’s how it works) but in the end I don’t really care. What I care about is free T.V. Blessed… glorious T.V.
Finally Lara and I no longer have to carry out that most awkward exercise of “talking” about “things” instead mindlessly staring at a glowing box. That was really getting old.
